She is the driving force behind Carragreen’s mission. She oversees marketing, finance, and manufacturing, combining technical precision with a strong sustainability vision. Surabhi’s journey from an idea incubated at IIM Bangalore and IIM Indore to a nationally recognized eco-startup reflects her belief that innovation and responsibility can go hand in hand. A designer at heart and a yoga enthusiast, she finds balance in both her work and life — embodying the harmony that Carragreen strives to bring to the world.

Chetna Shah

A connoisseur of art and craft

She brings her creative flair and deep understanding of design to Carragreen. With hands-on experience in the bakery and culinary world, she has mastered the art of blending aesthetics with functionality.

At Carragreen, Chetna leads product development and customer insight, ensuring every creation is both innovative and meaningful. Known for her inventive spirit and love for cooking, she adds a personal touch of creativity to everything she does — from eco-friendly designs to delightful food recipes.

Story

The world was full of things meant to be used once and forgotten… but we saw another way.

We imagined a world where the everyday objects we touch—cutlery, stationery, packaging—could give back to the Earth instead of harming it. Where ordinary items could carry purpose, meaning, and life. With care, creativity, and a sense of responsibility, she began designing products that were plastic-free, biodegradable, and even plantable. Each creation was more than just a tool or accessory; it was a small step toward a healthier planet, something people could use and feel proud of. As the idea grew, it became Carragreen — a brand dedicated to turning everyday use into mindful choices, where sustainability is simple, beautiful, and accessible to everyone. Surabhi often says, "We don’t have to wait for a perfect world to make a difference. Every small choice we make today can grow into a brighter, greener tomorrow."
